How we got here
LONG BEFORE WE WERE A COMPANY
Trust is built
by working together.
Our story begins in Alicante, with a friendship. It continues in London, sharing a trade and working on projects together. It becomes a company when we decide to bring that same trust to our relationships with clients.
We know what it means to be on site, coordinate with other teams and pay attention to every detail. That’s why we see leadership as a responsibility to stay close to the work and to the people who make it happen.

ALICANTE
First, a friendship.
Álvaro and Jorge meet in Alicante. Long before sharing projects, they share a friendship that would become the foundation of the way they work together.
- 2018–2022
LONDON
Our trade brings us back together.
After beginning their electrical training in Spain and London respectively, Álvaro and Jorge reconnect. Álvaro moves to the UK and they work together on London rail projects, including the Northern Line Extension and Elizabeth line. There, they discover a shared work ethic: precision, high standards and responsibility for the work they deliver.

DATA CENTRES
Two complementary areas of expertise.
Their careers move into data centres. Álvaro develops his expertise in electrical systems, generators, UPS and BMS. Jorge specialises in security systems and project supervision. Two technical perspectives that now complement each other in supporting their clients.

AJ PROTECT IBERIA IS FOUNDED
We choose to take ownership.
They establish AJ PROTECT IBERIA SL with one conviction: committing to a project means staying involved through to completion. Drawing on their site experience, they want to offer a close working relationship, with involved founders and leadership that knows the work first-hand. That belief has guided every new project since.
Projects before 2024 form part of the founders’ professional experience, before AJ PROTECT IBERIA was established.
